What to Expect at your Dog’s Follow Up Sessions

Now that we’ve completed your dog’s initial consultation & trust-building session, what’s next? More massage sessions!

Each dog’s journey is unique—some may be ready to dive right into full massage sessions, while others may need a few more trust-building sessions first. That’s completely okay! Our priority is making massage a relaxing, low-stress experience. Forcing or restraining a dog defeats the purpose and reduces its benefits.

What Follow-Up Sessions Focus On

  • Building Trust & Training – Training plays a big role, and we’ll need your help too! As your dog grows more comfortable, we can incorporate more advanced techniques and work deeper into the muscles to maximize the benefits.

  • Determining the Best Schedule – We’ll assess how often your dog needs massage to reach their goals or maintain progress.

  • Finding the Ideal Session Length – Factors like size & comfort level will help determine the most effective session duration.

  • Incorporating Deeper Techniques – As your dog becomes more receptive, we can use advanced muscle and tendon techniques to provide greater relief and mobility support.

  • Ongoing Assessments – With each session, we’ll check for any new concerns or changes since the last visit.

  • At-Home Techniques – We’ll show you easy massage techniques to help maintain progress between sessions.

  • Health & Wellness Insights – If we notice any concerns, we’ll recommend checking in with your veterinarian.

Each session is tailored to your dog’s needs and comfort level, ensuring they get the most from their massage experience.
